Hammer Mill

Hammer mill is suitable for grinding brittle and dry materials such as coal, rock, seeds, etc. The material is crushed between the hammers and serrated liners. The hammers are free to swing on the ends of the cross. The rotor is spun at a high speed inside the drum while material is fed into a gravity feed hopper. Particle size of the ground material can be varied over a large range by using sieves with the desired openings of hammer mill.
